Threshold-based alerts

You can use the Threshold-based alerts to create impact alerting with a user-selectable distance threshold to avoid specific hazards. If 0 is entered in any of these fields, only direct intersections with hazards will generate an alert.

To create Threshold-based impact alerting

1. In the Main ribbon, click Monitor/Alert.

   The Monitor and Alert Settings window appears.

2. Click Aircraft Options.

3. In the Aircraft Options window, Route impact detection distance parameters may be set.
