Managing Sectors
You can use the Sectors window to manage the sectors and their appearance on the map.
To Use Sectors
Click the View
Settings icon on the Main
toolbar, User Defined View Settings
(CTRL + V) on the
View menu, and then click Sectors, or the down arrow on the Sectors
Overlay icon on the Overlay
toolbar, then Sectors View Settings.
To Activate Sectors
The overlay must be enabled first by clicking
the Show Sectors Overlay check box
in User Defined View Settings -> Sectors
or by clicking the down arrow on the Sectors
Overlay icon on the Overlay
Toolbar, then selecting Sectors View
Settings.
To turn on the Sectors overlay, click the Sectors Overlay icon on the
Overlay toolbar, or select Sectors
(ALT + S)
on the Overlays menu.
Adding a Sector
- Type the ID in the Sector ID field (i.e. “ABCDE”)
- Click Add
to List
- Click Apply,
and then OK when done or Cancel to quit and exit the Sector window
Removing a Sector
- Click the Sector
ID in the list
- Click Remove
from List
- Click Apply,
and then OK when done or Cancel to quit and exit the Sector window
Adding a Filter Group
- Click on an item (default
is "None") in the Filter Group column
- Select the Filter Group
name from the popup list by clicking on it. You
will see a check appear in the check box in the first column.
- Select a custom color
for this group by clicking on the corresponding rectangle in the Color
column (optional)
- Click Apply and continue editing overlay settings or click Ok
to save and close the window.
Select/Unselecting a Filter Group
Click the check box in
the first column corresponding to that Filter Group or click the FIlter
Group name in the Overlay Dropdown menu
Removing a Filter Group
- Click on the Filter Group
name in the Filter
Group column
- Select the first item
in the popup list ("None") by clicking on it.
- Click Apply and continue editing overlay settings or click Ok
to save and close the window.
Note Changes made here will not be saved or take effect until Apply or OK is pressed.
