Understanding the Quick View Bar

The Quick View bar appears to the left, center or the bottom of the screen, depending on desktop settings and whether it is turned on in Settings & Options -> Desktop or the Window menu. It displays all of the saved views as buttons with the currently selected view in the pressed state. Click a button to select a new view.

The Options button at top right of the Quick View Bar, opens a menu with sort options and access to the "Manage Views" dialog.

Manage Views (Ctrl + E)	Click to open the Manage View dialog.
Sort by name	Sorts the list of views in alphabetical order.
Sort by public/private	Sorts the list of views based on public/private type.
Sort ascending	Sorts the list of views in ascending order.
Sort descending	Sorts the list of views in descending order.
Help	Opens online Help.
Close Quick View Window	Closes the Event List window. To reopen the window, go to the Tools menu -> Options -> Desktop tab, or the Window menu.
