Aircraft selection profiles window

You can use the Aircraft selection profiles to set up flight alerts.

To open the Aircraft Selection Profiles window

On the Home tab click .
The Monitor and Alert Settings window appears.
- In the tree directory on the left, click Aircraft selection profiles.

Item	Description
Aircraft event mode	Generate Events Only	This applies only to those aircraft currently specified in User Defined Views. Each time the User Defined View is changed, the set of aircraft generating events will also change. When selected, the Multi-Map option is active, see below.
When in Multi-Map mode filter based on	Select the window(s) to which filtering should be applied by choosing from: All Windows (default) Window 1 Window 2 Window 3 Window 4 Detached A Detached B Active Window During this process, the window number will temporarily appear at the bottom of each window in the Information bar.
Generate Events for All	This applies to all aircraft specified in the Airline/Airport/Aircraft profile box. Use this option for a consistent set of aircraft alerts.

During this process, the window number will temporarily appear at the bottom of each window in the Information bar.

Generate Events for All

This applies to all aircraft specified in the Airline/Airport/Aircraft profile box. Use this option for a consistent set of aircraft alerts.

Airline/Airport/Aircraft Profiles (unlabeled table)

Up to ten selection profiles may be defined with the following information.

Item	Description
Airline / Group	Includes all aircraft beginning with the 3-letter airline code, or "My Fleet" or "All general aviation".
Airport	Arrivals only, departures only or arrivals and departures at the indicated airport. Both ICAO and FAA versions of the airport ID are included by default (i.e. if you enter JFK, KJFK will be included also).
Aircraft type	Specific aircraft type.

Note Any field that is left empty is ignored. (i.e. if only the airline ID is entered, then all aircraft with that 3-letter ID will be included, regardless of their airports or aircraft type).

Item	Description
Advanced Aircraft Selections	Generate Drawing Object Proximity Alerts	Generates an alert for the "Aircraft entered area" and "Aircraft left area: events for ALL aircraft (not just those selected in the aircraft profiles).
	Generate Destination Change Alerts	Allows destination change events to occur for ALL aircraft, not just those defined in Selection Profiles (see above).
	Generate EDCT Update Alerts	Generates an EDCT update alert for ALL aircraft, including those specifically selected.
	Generate diversion alerts	Indicates that you would like to see diversion alerts.
	Generate holding alerts	Indicates that you would like to see holding pattern alerts.
	Generate Drawing Object Alerts	Choose one of the following: Only the first time an aircraft's positions is reported inside an alert area. Each time an aircraft inside an alert area has a change in position.
