Set Frequency

If the flight is not getting the position update within the set time, Flight Explorer sends the position request to ACARS automatically. From there ACARS sends a request to the flight for the position. This setting is just for the flight and will end at the end of the flight. To set up a position report for the entire airline, use the ACARS settings tab in Customer admin.

To change the frequency for a particular flight

1. In the Update Period field, enter the number of minutes that you would like to receive the updates.
2. Click Submit.
   The updates will now appear in the Event List.
