Emergency Diversion

The Emergency Diversion tool is an informational airport search tool, used to locate airports that meet emergency landing requirements while an aircraft is in-flight. It is sorted by runway size and type and is part of the Plane Context Menu.

To Use the Emergency Diversion tool

1. Right-click an aircraft to open the Plane Context menu.
2. Select Emergency Diversion.

Airport Filter Criteria

Item	Description
Maximum Distance from Aircraft	To search for an airport, enter the maximum distance (measured in nautical miles), between the aircraft and suitable airport.
Minimum Runway Length	Enter an amount (measured in feet), that meets the minimum runway length requirements for this particular aircraft.
Filter Group	Select a region to search, from filters created in Tools -> Options -> Filter Groups.
Set Airport View Filters	Click to set current User Defined views to reflect changes made above.
List Airports	Click to populate the list with airports that fit the above criteria.
