Finding a Plane

The Find Plane window provides a quick way to find a plane on-screen, or find the last known location if not currently in the air. The target must be defined in the current User Defined View for the symbol to surround the aircraft. If not, the symbol will surround the geographical area of the flight.

To Find a Plane

  1. In the Find plane window, in the Airdraft ID or talk number field, enter a the identification.
  2. Do one of the following:

    • Click Current last known location details.
      The current and last know details appear in the results area (unlabeled box).
    • Click Current location details.
      The current location of the plane appears in the results area (unlabeled box) .
    • Click Register info ....
      The registration information about the plane appears in the results area (unlabeled box).
    • Click Go to on-screen.
      Flight Explorer goes to the plane on-screen with a target symbol around the plane.
