Animation Settings
When the Enable Animation check box is selected, Flight Explorer begins to display weather products at intervals specified in Animation Settings. When not selected, Flight Explorer operates via default settings. See Weather & Dynamic Overlays.
Each slide represents an update for a particular weather product. Flight Explorer displays the designated number of slides or the number of slides available. For example, when the user specifies 8 slides to be displayed and Flight Explorer only has 2 updates for a particular weather product, only 2 updates are shown before pausing for the specified number of seconds between cycles. When more updates become available they are added to the number of available slides until the maximum is reached. When the maximum number of slides have been reached, future updates are marked as the most current in the set, which in turn removes the oldest slide.
To always have weather available for a particular weather product, even when not being displayed see Always Load in Weather Options.
The Animation bar shows the number of frames that are in the animation layer with the active layer being highlighted throughout the product presentation.
