Always Load / Record
Always Load |
Selecting one or more weather products causes them to be loaded each time they are updated, even if the product is not in the current view and on-screen. Useful with the animation feature to ensure that all past slides are available. |
Note By default, weather products are only loaded from the server when they are on-screen and a new version becomes available. This can cause a problem with animation. If the animated product is not currently on-screen, an update might not be loaded, causing a gap in the animation sequence. With Always Load, weather products can be loaded even if they are not selected for display in Flight Explorer.
Flight Explorer records the associated weather product when in record mode. Select a product for Auto Load to make the Record feature available. |
Flight Explorer must be running for weather to be loaded (even if in the autoload list). If Flight Explorer is started after not running for a while, animations will take a while to show all slides (up to 8x the product update interval).
