Weather Overlays

Flight Explorer provides a complete suite of weather products that are completely geo-referenced with aircraft data.

A number of weather packages are available with the Flight Explorer basic package or as additional cost add-ons. They are all delivered seamlessly with aircraft data via the Internet.

Flight Explorer also supports existing on-site weather feeds from both Schneider Electric and other weather vendors you purchase.

The Weather & Dynamic Overlays allow you to display up to ten (10) weather products simultaneously. Selected weather graphics are displayed and geo-referenced with aircraft and other overlays. While displayed, weather graphics automatically update as new products become available (update period is specific to each weather product).

Weather products selected on any layer can be animated (set into motion) showing up to the last 8 weather product slides along with the progression and motion of the weather system. Any or all ten weather products can be animated at any given time.

Weather products can also be recorded along with aircraft data for later playback and analysis. This feature, found in Weather Options, is an additional cost add-on to the basic Flight Explorer package.
